Steve Spoon
Sr. Pastor
Steve is a kindhearted man of God who is passionate about his family, the church and bringing people to a personal relationship with Christ.
Pastor Steve and his wife Sonja first joined the ministry of Piqua Church in 2006. Pastor Steve is primarily responsible for overseeing and directing our vision as a church and for preaching at our weekend services.
Pastor Steve and Sonja (a Special Education Teacher) desire to help all of Miami Valley through ministry. They enjoy family time with their four children as well as spending time with extended family and friends.
Pastor Steve has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology with a concentration in Pastoral Ministries. He has previously served as Senior Pastor at churches in Jamestown, Kentucky, Sidney, Ohio and Niles, Ohio.

What does he do for Piqua First?
Lincoln is over Pastoral Care, including Hospital, Nursing Home and Homebound visitation, and Funeral Care. He also plans and helps facilitate many of our mid-week and weekend services.
